Shannon Rowland O'Connor is a Los Angeles based photographer who focuses on portraiture and abstract landscapes. Themes expressed in her work are identity, intrigue, isolation and self reflection. She finds inspiration in non traditional places using a juxtaposition of elements. Her goal is to create beautiful images that are aesthetically pleasing but also embody a dark undertone. The resulting images have a raw, almost painterly quality that embrace the dichotomy of the world around us at any given time.
